Ryan Griffis is an artist, curator, and freelance writer and has organized, participated in and juried online exhibitions, including Memefest and Contextin’ Art: Genetically Modified Culture in 2003. He has been a critic in Residence for Furtherfield.org and for the past two years has been writing for Rhizome.org’s Net Art News and Digest. He is currently teaching in the Deptartment of Media, Film, & Journalism at Southwest Missouri State University.
