Alexandre Castonguay lives in Hull, Quebec and is the artistic director of Artengine, a self-organized art center in Ottowa which produces and diffuses art on the net. He is an artist whose practice is based in digital and photographic media, and his works are in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Canada Council Art Bank and the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, and also currently on view at the Musée d'art contemporain (Montréal) and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He is the recepient of a McConnel research grant at the University of Corcordia and also a visiting professor at the University of Ottawa.
