Yacub (Canada)
| Ernie Yacub has been working with Michael Linton for the last 7 years designing and developing community money systems, primarily in North America and recently Japan. Previously, he and several others had started a reforestation co-operative in 1976, which he and his partner managed for the next 15 years. During that period and subsequently, he was involved in peace, social justice, and environmental advocacy. In 1990, he founded the Georgia Strait Alliance, a successful environmental organization in the Pacific Northwest that works on water quality issues. He lives on the north west coast of Turtle Island, aka North America. | |
