Alexander Brener was born in 1957 in Alma-Ata, Soviet Union. Studied Philology in Pedagogical Institute of Leningrad. Lived in Tel Aviv, Moscow, Vienna and London.Barbara Schurz was born in 1973 in Klagenfurt, Austria. Studied at the University of Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

Alexander Brener and Barbara Schurz are poets, cartoonists, novelists, theorists, interventionists,political activists, singers. Together they published books in German, Russian and English, among others: 54 Technologies of Resistance, Demolish Serious Culture!!! (Vienna 2000), Tattoos auf Gefängnissen (Vienna 2000) and Bukaka Spat Here (London 2002).
